Well, there are many blogs out there and you must be the one to show why is your blog different then the other million or simply answer the question: „Why would anyone visit and read your blog? “ What was the last time you thought about your blog and your visitors?
Did you know that you can make some simple small changes and get great results?
There are certainly ways to attract more visitors and to turn your blog into a gold mine and here are top 5 tips to do it!

1) Define your niche

This will be No.1 thing to do. Think of this, every visitor is searching for something specific. Maybe visitors don’t know exactly what it is but they know it when they see it. If your blog delivers the content they want to see, then you got it.

How you should define your niche? Well, there must be something you are good in. There must be something you like to write about. Some people say that if you cannot define your niche in one sentence, you have a problem. This might be truth. If this is the case, you should work it out until you manage to define your niche in one sentence.

This is how you will send a clear message to your visitors and they will know what they can get from you.

2) Define your visitors

This can be really helpful. Understanding your visitors / customers can increase your sales or blog popularity. If you understand their needs more, you can give them what they want.

So, it is important to know are the main visitors 40 year old females or 15 year old males. I don’t think you will use the same strategy with both of these groups.

Track your visitors with Google Analytics and invite them to take a survey. Simply ask them what they want. You will be surprised about data you will get. This will help a lot.

3) Plan your strategy

If you want to keep it on the right track, you should play your strategy. It doesn’t mean that you must have 100% planed everything but at least you should have some main ruled defined.

If you get most of the visitors via Google search, you should make good SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and attract more and more audience through organic search.

On the other hand, you should also track referrals and see what is going on there. What content your referrals have and what content do you visitors get there. You can adjust your writing a little bit to give your readers what they want.

4) Develop your content

Why? Because it’s much easier to write an articles and content if you know what you are writing about. Define categories, define goal and you will be able to deliver your content with ease.

You should publish your article on a regular base. I know, sometimes you are busy and you don’t have time to sit down and concentrate. Ok, have you heard about WordPress and scheduling posts? I am sure you have. You can sit down at Saturday and write the posts in advanced for the whole week or two.
If you publish your articles e.g. 3 or 4 a week, this shouldn’t be a problem.

This is great way to work only one day in a week and get results 24/7.

5) Measure your results

You did what we said earlier? You did attract the right audience? Well, if you did and you also noticed that your visitors are staying longer on your site and read your content, you can do your happy dance.

Google analytics can provide you great results for measuring this kind of data.

Successful blogs have well defined niche, customers, goals and content. Once you get your trust and make connection to your visitors, you’ve made it.
